i’m still in pain from baseball and it’s been almost a week. i either pulled something or else i’m just a puss. that’s probably it! i’m way out of shape. maybe i shouldn’t smoke so damn much. oh well. i was very proud of myself. i usually never hit the ball when i play, but i was up to bat 4 times and i hit the ball every time. it was quite a feat for me! w00t!

nothing else is really that new and exciting. the house is awesome. went and saw wedding crashers last nite. damn funny movie. katy couldn’t control herself. she was almost more entertaining than the movie!

i’m off to bala (muskoka) this weekend with tyler and his family. spending a couple days at a cottage. i can’t wait. we’re also going to see spirit of the west (’i've been drunk for a month now i’m home for a rest!’). should be fun.

got a raise yesterday at work. an extra $100/month. i’m okay with that! been super busy lately and everyone has been telling me i’m doing really well. it always helps when people pat you on the back every now and then. helps you feel like you’re doing your job well and that you’re appreciated.

it’s my birthday in a couple weeks! wheeeeeeee!

my mother is making me play baseball tonite. i know you wanna laugh about that.

ok stop rolling around on the floor laughing. that’s quite enough.

if that’s not bad enough, it’s a double header. and i have to be the catcher.

ok seriously, stop laughing.

i went and saw weezer and the pixies on saturday with john and ty. weezer was good, but they don’t move. they just kind of stand there and sing. and i must admit i know nothing by the pixies, and it took about five songs before i realized there was a girl in the band (hey, she looked like a dude on the stage). once she started singing some of the songs i started enjoying them.

went to hess friday for simmy’s birthday. good times, especially when katy slapped amanda across the face. that was pretty damn entertaining.

nothing else is overly exciting in my life right now. still trying to unpack some boxes at the house. the house is almost presentable! exhilarating.

ok i think it’s time for a smoke break.

katy gets her tonsils out on wednesday! we’re both hoping to possibly quit smoking. hopefully. i think it will last a week tops.
