Tyler’s 23rd Birthday!

farting around with the template again. i uploaded an ass-load of templates. still getting used to editing them to look how i want them to. having some troubles getting my calendar back up, that’s about it. slowly but surely!

nothing overly exciting is new. other than friday at work! there’s been a new guy working in the metal shop next door for about three weeks now. for as much as i always talk to someof the guys over there, i never really talked to the new guy (who’s name i found out is jordan). i talked to mark and told him to introduce me, so on friday he did just that. they finish work at 430, i finish at 5. so i’m just looking out the window as they’re all getting off. next thing i know, jordan is getting out of the car he’s in and putting something on my windshield! it was his number of course. i called him, we were gonna do something saturday, he didn’t call back. fartknocker. i’ll lay the smackdown tomorrow at work (!)

katy and i went out with al, scott, and jeff friday nite. they ended up back here and we played drinking games until 530am. crazy. they’re funny guys. “the f-police! woooooo!” “put me in coach, i’m ready!” “are you really going to stop me from reaching my goals?” fun times. you really had to be here.

saturday nite (last nite) katy and i were exhausted from too much drinking the nite before so we decided to stay in and watch some movies. we watched cruel intentions and crash. CI is just an awesome movie. Crash was eye-opening. very interesting. didn’t really get into it at first, but the more we watched it, the more i understood the point of the film and began to enjoy it.

and today i have done absolutely nothing. just farting around with the page. that’s about it. it’s sunday. it’s a day of rest (and sitting around in your pj’s all day).

katy and i declared all guys stupid last nite. every. last. one. i really need my faith restored in men. anyone? anyone? (bueller? bueller?)

20 days til matt good! just sayin.

so texas was fun i suppose. all we did was go in the pool, shop, and eat dinner. not that i’m complaining. i love shopping. i got some excellent purchases, but at the same time was really not too pleased with the shopping in san antonio. but what can you expect from a city that’s not exactly a tourist city. meh. it was nice to get away for a couple days. i had a one day work week! i had a lot to catch up on. but i still managed to leave early when coopy came to see me. he loves the armadillo bobblehead i brought him.

went up to owen sound last nite for katy’s aunt and uncle’s 25th wedding anniversary. we were actually just a bit outside of owen sound in boonie-ville. they’re all country boys around there! but it was a fun nite. can’t wait to go up there again. her cousins and their gf’s are probably going to come check out the “city” life here in burlington soon. out there all there is to do is have bush parties where much drinking and pot smoking occurs! we just take these things and move them indoors in the “city”! but fun times were had. and good cake. we all know how important good cake it to me.

so i’m going to see matt good in toronto on october 15th. i’m soooo excited. been itching to see him for a while now. here’s hoping he plays my song (’song for the girl’). awesome song. also hoping for a little ‘pledge of allegiance’ - another excellent song. quite the day to purchase the tickets on too…. i found out david gray is playing the acc, but only shitty seats are left. ah well. i’m upset i got into system of a down right around the time of the concert and didn’t get to go. was probably an awesome show. such is life.

i think it’s time for bed. too many ups and downs for one day. but i will not let the downs drag me down. thanks to my awesome friends, i keep my head up high!

Katy and I are hitting the road up to Owen Sound for the weekend! We leave Saturday morning and will return Sunday evening.
