Oh how I love holidays. And the fact that this is the first September ever that I don’t have to think about school.
so i’m working the vip tent tonite at ribfest. i never realized how many people have never heard of ribfest. i work with mostly all men who are from places other than burlington and they have no idea what ribfest is. weird. but yeah, 6-10 i’m in the vip with tent with miss katryna selling raffle tickets. i don’t get paid to do it with money, but i do get paid in the form of catering by barangas and some drink tickets. we have to sell 80 tickets. the tent holds 150 people. we’re hoping to sell out of tickets in 2 hours so we can start drinking/leave early. here’s hopin. katy’s going to be working in the tent quite a bit this weekend and promised me that if i came to ribfest any of the other days with some people that she’d get us all in the vip tent where this is a full bar instead of just beer. w00t!
tomorrow afternoon simmy and i are going to the jays game. we’re sitting by the third baseline which rocks because they’re playing tampa bay and alex gonzalez plays third base for them. oh how i miss him playing for the jays. should be fun times. nachos, expensive beer, and mini donuts! horray!
nothing else is overly new and exciting as of late. just the same old same old. a lot of people go back to school on monday which kinda sucks. but i look forward to partying it up in windsor with simmy this year. it’s her last year! w00t!
okay, time to try and find something to occupy myself with for the next hour at work. then i get to go work at ribfest. it’s gonna be a loooong day.
