near fantastica

This past week was both terrible and fantastic. I spent Monday through Wednesday being the biggest, crabbiest bitch in the world. I was nasty to everyone for three solid days. I walked out in the middle of Easter dinner at grandma’s on Monday. I told my mother to hire my replacement each of those three days. Working at Gyptech has become very stressfull, not just for me, but for everyone in there. We have too much work and not enough people. By Friday I was feeling much better, and the fact that we just decided to hire these two cute boys my age helped a little haha. As of the end of July, I no longer work for the family business. More on that in a moment.

So last weekend I decided to dye my hair red. I feel pretty good about it. Much to my family’s dismay (grandma told me it makes me look ‘whoorish’. Thanks grams). It was a fun day filled with hair dye. I think I’ll keep it this colour for a while. It’s fun! Last weekend was a blast. Bowling with Chris & Co. was awesome! See pictures here. Hanging out with them is always fun. We always find something to do, and more often than not, it doesn’t involve sitting around the Dickens. This weekend was also fun. Friday nite we went to the fair at the Burlington Mall and then had a bonfire at Hidden Valley. Check it here. Last nite no one wanted to go out, so Harvey and I went to the batting cages then to Timmy Ho’s for a bit. I can’t lift my arms today. Uggghhhhhh….

So yeah, leaving Gyptech. I’m going to train my replacement (when we find one) for the months of June & July. Then I’m outta there! I plan on spending the month of August doing a whole lot of nothing. I’m going to be in school for the next four years straight, 12 months of the year. I want a month to just veg out. I’m seriously contemplating spending a week in Greece, by myself. More specifically, Santorini in the Greek Islands. The more I research the island and see pictures of its beauty, the more I want to go. We’ll see how that all goes. It’s only April! Planning a trip to England with grams in May or June as well. Yay! I’ll hang out with Peter Kay in London. Sweet.

Chris is moving some of his stuff in today. He’s going to be living with me for the summer. I’m pretty pumped about that. Should be fun times!

OK my arms hurt. Time to go cut them off and beat myself with the wet end.
