so i saw matthew good last nite at the mod club. he just blows me away. he is phenomenal. he sounds just like he does on the albums which is a wonderful thing in the day and age of lip-syncing. it’s nice to see someone who can genuinely sing and sing well. he played so many of my favourites as well as some new stuff that i really enjoyed. the boy come home was a beautiful song and i can’t wait to get my hands on it.

i made chris a lifetime fan of matt good now, just like i did with katy at the september concert. i love introducing people to matt good’s music. hearing him live though is what really makes you a solid fan for life. he has such an excellent range and holds his notes beautifully. i loved hearing him sing prime time deliverance in particular.

one thing i noticed is that he got pretty fat. i was shocked. i’ve posted my pictures on my flickr account. there’s a few that turned out really well, but most of them are blurry, but you get the general idea. we were really close to him so i was able to get some decent shots. check it!

overall, an awesome evening. from getting lost in toronto, to the sketchy subway bathroom, to cuddling under the canopy, to watching that guy bail on the sidewalk, to the crazy drunk girl hitting on chris, to getting lost again in toronto. awesome nite with two of my best friends. can’t wait until the next concert! haha.

soooooooooooo pumped!!!

so i’m headed up to windsor this weekend to see my simmy! wheeeeeeeeee! this will probably be the last weekend i ever spend in windsor seeing as simmy is (finally) done this year. so i’m pretty excited yet kind of sad at the same time. gonna get my groove on this weekend and enjoy some lovely breakfast food courtesy of ferarry’s. yummy. we’ll do some shopping, some eating, some dancing, some drinking. fun times will be had.

been spending a lot of time with chris lately just hangin’ out, being crazy. he spent the last 2 nites at my place because he had job interviews in burly near my place. i wish nothing but the best in life for chris - he deserves it. he might be living with me for the summer until mark gets back from police training and they move out together. should be fun. i can’t wait for it to get nice and warm outside. i’m ready for summer!!

nothing else overly new and exciting. just trudging through the everyday bullshit while trying to keep a smile on my face. i can’t wait to go back to school so i can get out of this job. what i really want to be doing right now is packing up my stuff and travelling europe. who wants to go on a mediterranean cruise with me? it’s only like $4000 (yes only). the greek islands are calling my name! i need to go….
