you got a fast car…
well 2008, i suppose you decided to add some spice to my life.
i bought a new house on monday. i’m really excited to move in!! no more neighbours on my walls. thank christ. it’s a beautiful house and i fell in love the moment i laid eyes on it. i had just walked in the front door, looked at my real estate agent and said “this is it”. after all the other shitty houses i looked at, i finally found the diamond in the rough. and to top it all off, it has a hot tub. pretty pumped about that. i take possession on march 11th. in the meantime, i have to clean up my house and get it on the market. houses tend to go pretty quickly in my complex, so hopefully i can get a closing date on this one not far off from my new place. that would be ideal. so i’ve already ticked off one thing of my list of things to do in 2008! now i have to go shopping for more furniture as i have more rooms in the new place. yippee.
work is….work. nothing exciting. we’re pretty dead right now, but in the coming months it will become insanely busy again. as much as the slow months can get a bit tedious, i enjoy the break. once the busy months come, i’ll be longing for the boring days again.
now if you’ll excuse me, there’s a storage closet in the garage calling my name. ugh. kill me now. or else come help me. that would be nice.
